Vision is closely linked to the learning process. Children who have trouble seeing or interpreting what they see will often have trouble with their schoolwork. Many times, children will not complain of vision problems simply because they don't know what "normal" vision looks like. If your child performs poorly at school or exhibits a reading or learning disability, be sure to have their eyes examined to rule out an underlying visual cause. Your children may not require glasses but might benefit from eye exercises.
Dr. Doug Stephey is one of the leaders in vision therapy. He visits our office monthly to assess those who have eye teaming or visual processing problems. Once the assessment is performed a vision therapy plan is executed and after treatment huge improvements are made for that patient! Vision therapy is for children and adults! Come in and fill out a simple questionaire to see if you could benefit from this service!
