Dr. Diane Almanza, O.D.

Dr. Diane Almanza is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry. She has received various awards including: Dr. Roger Kame Memorial Scholarship for Clinical Excellence, GP Lens Institute Clinical Excellence, and the Dr. John Dean Student Research Award. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association where she serves as a chair on the membership committee. Special intrests include pediatrics and contact lenses.
Dr. Almanza has become a pediatric doctor here at Brea Optometry. She sees kids starting at age 6 months! Your kids will be in great hands with her. We have had kids say that coming in for their eye exam is one of their favorite days of the year! Recently Dr. Almanza has accepted a teaching position at the Southern California College of Optometry. When not working Dr. Almanza enjoys yoga, dining out, and spending time with her husband and three beautiful children. |
Dr. John Larcabal, O.D.

Dr. John Larcabal is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association where he recently served as President. Dr. Larcabal has been in practice 22 years and teaches at the prestigous Southern California College of Optometry.
Dr. Larcabal has received many awards including Young Optometrist of the Year, as well as the Golden Apple Award from the Norwalk La Mirada Unified School District for his assistance in the visual welfare of the children in our community. |
Dr. Lisa R. Matsui, O.D.

Dr. Lisa Matsui is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and the Southern California College of Optometry. She has been in practice for over 18 years and has spent the last 11 years here in the City of Brea. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. She currently serves on the Alumni Board of Directors for the Southern California College of Optometry. Special interests include contact lenses and family practice.
Outside of the office, Dr. Matsui enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. When asked what she likes about being an optometrist, she will tell you that, "it's being able to see my patients and their families year after year and knowing that they trust me as their primary eyecare provider |
Dr. Yamam Almouradi, O.D.

Dr. Yamam Almouradi is a graduate of Ketchum University - Southern California College of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
She is Vision Therapy certified as well as Corneal Refractive Therapy-Paragon (CRT) certified. Dr. Almouradi has received various awards including: Dr. John R. Griffin Award of Excellence in Vision Therapy, Special Olympics and Lions Club Certificate of Excellence, Certificate of Recognition for Community Service from California Legislature Assembly, and Certificate of Appreciation in Medical Network Devoted to Service (MiNDS). Special interests include Neuro-Optometric Vision Therapy, Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Sports Vision Enhancement, and Special Needs exams. When not working, Dr. Almouradi enjoys event planning, family time, volunteering in optometry service events for the underserved locally and abroad, and directing Sight & Sketches - a grassroots Southern California optometric and humanitarian relief project she co-founded sightandsketches.com Dr. Almouradi is fluent in Arabic. |
Yvonne

Yvonne joined our Brea Optometry team in December of 2007. She has been in the optometry field since 2002. She is an optician, and one of her favorite things to do at our office is to help patients pick out their new glasses.
When Yvonne is not at Brea Optometry, she enjoys watching movies with her brother and sisters, hanging out with close friends and watching basketball and spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. |
Cynthia

Cynthia joined Brea Optometry in 2016. She is a doctor's assistant. You will see her before you see the doctor as she administers the many important tests such as eye pressure, peripheral vision testing, and retinal imaging. Cynthia enjoys spending time with her son and going to Angel games when she is not working.

Viviana joined the Brea Optometry team in 2016. She has been in the optometry field since 2011. Viviana loves to help each patient find the right pair of glasses for their lifestyle. She has a lot of fun ideas and is full of energy. When she is not helping patients at work she enjoys running, playing softball and spending time with her family.

Aly has been in the optical field since 2008. She has a passion for helping our patients pick the best eyewear.

Becca
|
Becca is a doctors assistant and administrative assistant. Becca will happily help any patient that she comes across. Becca works part time at Brea Optometry and she is a nanny the rest of her time. She loves to spend time with her friends and family as well as her dog!
